Coach Ben Uziel

Training Approach:
Coach Ben’s private coaching is designed to help players progress through the UTR 1–7 range efficiently by combining structured group training with focused one-on-one sessions. His approach emphasizes timing, positioning, technical fundamentals, and consistent repetition, all tailored to the player’s current level. Known for his ability to connect with students on a psychological level, Coach Ben helps athletes better understand their mindset and make each tournament experience more productive. Due to limited availability, his private schedule is reserved for players who are fully committed to reaching a UTR of 8 or higher.
Coach Ryan Wattar
Drop-In Private: $90
Training Approach: Coach Ryan Wattar, a USPTA-certified coach with experience training multiple collegiate athletes, brings a strong psychological understanding and ability to connect with his students. He offers deep knowledge in point structure, strength and conditioning, and emphasizes patience to ensure consistent, week-by-week improvement. A firm believer in the balance of group and private sessions, Coach Ryan creates a training experience that helps students progress quickly through structure, support, and thoughtful instruction.
Coach Nick Strohla – CanDo Racket Sports

Training Approach: Coach Nick Strohla, also known as Coach Lucky, brings over a decade of coaching experience and a deep commitment to player development. As the founder of CanDo Racket Sports, he partnered with the City of Prosper to create opportunities for students to grow their game on their own courts, and now collaborates with Modern Tennis to expand that vision. Coach Nick brings energy, structure, and consistency to every session, combining hands-on demonstrations with clear, in-depth instruction. With a focus on technical precision, footwork, serve consistency, and overall court awareness, he connects with students in a way that inspires passion and drives long-term growth.
Coach Sainitin Goli – CanDo Racket Sports

Training Approach: Coach Sainitin Goli brings a mindset of constant improvement and precision to his coaching style. His proactive approach allows him to quickly identify and adjust technical flaws in a student’s physical game, offering detailed feedback and support. Known for being relatable and easy to connect with, Coach Sainitin builds strong rapport with his students while keeping each private session focused and intentional. Every minute on court is used to work toward their specific goals and long-term development.
Coach Lily Wattar
Drop-In Private: $70
Training Approach: Coach Lily joins Modern Tennis with her USPTA certification and over six years of experience working with players under 10. She specializes in helping young athletes fall in love with the game while building a strong foundation in technique, movement, and mindset to support their growth throughout their tennis journey.
Coach Eduardo Cruz – CanDo Racket Sports

Training Approach: Coach Eduardo Cruz, our youngest coach, brings an impressive list of accolades and firsthand experience from his own training journey. As a state champion who grew up in the modern age of tennis, he understands the challenges today’s players face and uses that perspective to connect with and guide his students. With a lifelong background in the sport, Coach Eddie focuses on building consistency, confidence, and overall game development from an early age making him a great fit for players of all levels.
Coach Dane Crew

Training Approach: Coach Dane Crew brings over two decades of coaching experience and a proven track record of developing high-level players, including numerous boys and girls reaching a 7+ UTR in the state of Texas. Known for his straightforward and effective coaching style, Coach Dane blends technical instruction with a strong psychological approach ensuring students not only improve quickly but also enjoy every moment on the court. While his availability is limited, he’s deeply passionate about watching his students grow and develop a lasting love for the game.
Coach Daniel Uziel

Training Approach: Coach Daniel Uziel, the first student and younger brother of Coach Ben, has trained under his guidance since day one. With a deep understanding of the Modern Tennis system, he knows how to accelerate a student’s development and deliver exponential results. In addition to his coaching, Daniel provides valuable insight into nutrition, physical conditioning, and overall wellness helping students reach their full athletic potential both on and off the court.
